The system isn't broken. It works exactly as designed.The problem is that the design is obsolete.

They sold us the idea that if we follow the rules, everything will be fine. But reality is screaming at us that the rules are rigged.

Look around you. In cities like Barcelona, work no longer guarantees a roof. Thousands of people have jobs, pay taxes and hold up the economy, yet they sleep in tents in the shadow of luxury hotels. They have turned the right to live into a financial asset. The Airbnb model has hijacked our neighbourhoods, turning homes into undercover hotels, pushing residents out and widening this gap until it became unbearable.

We produce enough food to feed twice the world's population, yet we throw away half of what we harvest while people go hungry. Artificial abundance lives side by side with imposed scarcity.

They told us that studying was the way. But education has become obsolete. Universities are training young people for a world that no longer exists, handing them degrees that will not guarantee them work, but debt and precarity.

They have isolated us. We are living through the greatest epidemic of mental illness and loneliness in history. The system demands that we compete with our neighbour and, when the anxiety of an uncertain future makes us ill, they prescribe pills instead of offering us community.

They force us onto a treadmill of absurd consumerism, buying things designed to break in order to keep turning an economy that enslaves us.

And meanwhile, we are wrecking the planet. We destroy ecosystems, exhaust resources and accelerate climate collapse to keep shareholders happy who will never set foot on the scorched earth.

They have made us believe that greed is the engine of progress. But that boundless craving for money does not create wealth: it manufactures misery.

HackTheSystem is born as a global platform for awareness. We are not here to complain; we are here to inspire. We look for those breaking points, those key actions we know will have a massive, real impact, to rewrite the rules of the game.

To hack the system is to refuse to be a cog in a machine that devours us.
To hack the system is to prove that the economy must serve people, and not people serve the economy.

The current code was written by a few.
It's time we all rewrote it.
